It's impossible to play Olympiad as a Dwarf???

I feel like fortune seekers are completely gimped. As a spoiler, I am losing more matches than I am winning while being more geared than 90% of people. Maybe I just suck at Olympiad. I am unable to beat OL, geared mages, human tanks, and some soul hounds. I must be playing like an idiot or something, because it’s just so damn hard to take points. By the way, I come from another server seeking advice here. x7 freya retail like, no gm shop. luxury shop up to a grade.

 

Strategy:

Vs Heavy armor: stuns + stuns + stuns

Vs leather & robe: stuns into backstab & deadly blow

 

Troublesome Classes:

Vs Cardi & Elders, map: open field, gear okay to good: automatic lost

Vs Cardi & Elders, map: pillars, gear, okay to good: maybe 50% or a bit higher. Hiding is the key

Vs mages, good gear: Not a chance, two shot?

Vs OL, gear okay to good: not a chance in hell

Vs Soul hound, gear: okay to good: Out of ten games, I will probably take 3 of them

 

My setup:

Dyes: I have +wit -int and I am testing +con -str right now. But I am thinking of adding +dex +con -str as well. -8 str Doesn’t decrease blunt skill damage, right?

Emergent: Mdef lvl 6 because we have heavy armor mastery for extra pdef? Or should I go with lvl 3 pdef & lvl 3 mdef?

 

My gear:

Vorpal Heavy 60x3 [should I switch over to Noble Vesper foundation?]

Avenger OE’d[Almost SA], skull dual daggers Oe’d[sA’d], Skull bow Oe’d[working on SA],

baium, AQ, Tezza, Zaken plus Oly earring.

 

Deadly blow, Backstab stab, blunt mastery [speed], war frenzy at +27 [zero mana at +30?]

Hammer Crush at +29

Armor crush at +15

Spoil, heavy armor, dagger master at +17

 

 

Talisman: I am not good at this at all.

Base: pdef, speed, & patk. Other than just using more more pdef [Divine Protection + Yellow pdef, does it stack?], or restore HP/MP, what would you recommend for this?

 

I am trying to make refresh stick & clarity stick for oly. Do I need anything else here?

I am very well equipped, but I am not that great at PvP but I trying to improve. All advice would be appreciated. Thank you so much for reading!!!

Vorpal heavy sucks u should go for vesper noble mw.

Try to stun and put pvp on dual dagger to debuff class like elder and overlord. Try to play with maximum clarity ( 0 mp consume for 90s )

Even with all these things, spoilers isnt a good class for 1v1. You would have more fun with smth else. But keep in mind all spoiler knows the same. So u will probably reach the hero anyway.

Hypnozze, Are you referring to vesper noble heavy foundation/MW? I was actually thinking of crafting a set. The foundation bonuses are amazing. I agree with putting pvp on my daggers. It's a great debuff. Are you talking about clarity from augmentation on a weapon "buff stick?" Can you get different levels of clarity from augmenting? And would recommend any other bluff sticks, other augmentation?

Hey everyone, here is a little update. I was in the top 5 spoilers for heroes for the last period. I am still kind of bummed out I wasn't higher. But I'm trying out different talismans and will report back. I'm still not sure what to go for with emergents. I could use the pdef even though we have heavy armor mastery against tanks, but sometimes those magic crits are just too strong. Would lvl 6 mdef even help me there? I'm currently working on getting my heavy armor mastery and dagger mastery up to at least 25+. Does anyone know if war frenzy is free when it's been enchanted for cost at +30? I heard this, but I can't find any information on it.

Back again, sadly I didn't take hero this period. The current hero is definitely get feed, but I believe I am the strongest dwarf in the server now. I have versus the current FS hero and she doesn't even know how to play her class correctly and the current MA hero is really good. I can take 2 out of 3 battles with him. But I am still lacking an SA on my blunt and bow, laughable right? And I only have 60x3 on my armor. But War frenzy, Heavy Armor, and Hammer crush is at +30 now with everything else at +27 except spoil. I have been testing out Vesper Noble heavy and it's shit. I will stick Vorpal and just max that out. I know it's different per server, but I feel like Fire, Earth, and Dark times three is the best with obviously an extra piece of armor. Does anyone disagree? I'm kind of bummed out about Hero, but it's nice to know that all of my hard work hasn't been for nothing. I can take a lot of pvp and it's pretty strong character. Stun + stab is a deadly combination.

Well first of all you need to understand that spoiler is not a an olympiad farmer :), so in most cases a hero Fortune Seeker is one of those that will get fed by its clan or constant party. With gear you got I suggest you creating an Phoenix Knight or a Hell Knight and give it a try solo.
