L2 Color problem fix.

Hello, does anybody know how to fix windows colors while Lineage2.exe is active?

Everytime I play Lineage 2 and minimize to dekstop, all colors on desktop and browser seems so bright, and its so annoying. I know it's a common problem and it's been for years. L2 does something to color scheme and gamma.

I tried to search for a fixes on internet but couldn't find it.

i think i had this problem with my old pc, i could not change it too, i think it something with video card or whole cpu too slow or too old. ive changed pc two times since, both times new pc had no problems with any l2 chronicle

What Video card and Windows version are you using?

So basically now when you minimize Lineage 2 colors on desktop seems to be okay?

Im not sure, i think u can use alt+x go to video options and change these settings

i mean when u are logged in of or when u are offline (in the log in) just try to options at the right-down site of your l2.exe window

windows 7, gforce 960gtx, 8 gb ram, works fine, try playing on lower graphics

My problem has nothing to do with lowering graphics options. For some reason while L2.exe active it changes gamma settings for whole system. Lineage 2 brightness looks okay, but if I minimize L2, then the whole desktop looks terrible.

I think we should end this thread, I'm pretty sure no one will come up with fix.

The screen (desktop) became the light? Yes, many a problem. It does not even depend on the game ... Do not know even why.

maybe its windows aero theme? try dissabling it, ive seen soem guys having same shit with fifa 15 16 games

Tried it, didn't work.

It was a big problem back in the day for many people. Maybe it's still a case for me, because I'm using laptop with pretty weak graphics card or w/e.

Also I tried to take screenshot to show you how my colors on desktop looks while L2.exe is active, but on screenshoot colors looks normal :D

While L2 is active it changes gamma of my windows system.

I think, Im understand about what is yours problem.

Game => Option => Video => Gamma: change "High" to "Average".
