You download the client from the website or torrent, and its fine, now you need to download the game loader OUTSIDE the game folder, then you run the game loader/launcher, and you specify into it the folder where you extracted the client. then you run the updater from the game launcher and is normal that is going to download few more Gb of game. but only for the first time.
