Dear friends,

We are quite sensitive to the players of the Eternal server, because they are the most devoted visitors of our project. Improvements and additions of content for the Eternal server are the key to an interesting and long-lasting game, the MasterWork team is happy to try and please you with updates.
You can find out all the details of the innovations in our Patch Note 🙃 

 

 

A little information about who and how much tried for you despite the summer and holiday season and what was done for the main part of the update:

  • The following has been added to the game world:
    • The location has been moved - Raiders' Crossroads;
    • 10 monsters moved;
    • More than 70 new NPCs have been created, namely:
      • 8 main NPCs who will introduce you to the lore and perform item exchanges;
      • 47 monsters;
      • 6 bosses.
    • Added 311 new skills;
    • 319 new items were created and 40 new icons were drawn for them;
      • 171 pieces of equipment;
      • 148 quest items.
    • 117 dialogues for NPCs were written.
  • The update took about 4 months to create and was mainly worked on by 7 people, namely:
    • Einhar - Game designer, from whose pen came the locations, mechanics and bosses already familiar to you - Haotum Settlement, Fairy Settlement, everyone's favorite Ankou, Epidos, Beleth Kerberos on HB, the new Ishka in Dragon Valley, Pagan Temple and Andreas Van Halter. Eternal weapons, locations associated with them and the quest.
    • FocusDeath is a lore consultant who provided most of the historical facts and names for the NPCs, and also made a great video, be sure to watch it, like it and support the guy with a comment!
    • Mistress Owlet, the mistress of Wikipedia, took over writing all the dialogues, read and enjoy the story.
    • FabuLous - video maker and more, who created the teaser video ;
    • And also less public but no less important:
      • Scripts;
      • Testers;

Beleth has found a spell that allows him to manipulate time using the Honai Dimensional Gate, and plans to summon a powerful demon into the world to take over all of Elmoreden.

Master Tobald, who created the time-traveling device Vilma#3, arrives from the future to report this threat and help prepare for battle. He seeks help from the Ivory Tower to have the mages develop a spell that can stabilize objects from the past in the present. The mages create the Conjugation Spell and, together with Tobald, approach King Amadeo Cadmus to organize a militia.

Amadeo Cadmus entrusts this task to one of his best warriors - Lorion. Garrison captain Lorion asks for help from adventurers to collect relics of all races to create new armor that will help them stop the demon invasion or defeat it.

Thanks to the improvement of Tobald's time machine and players who bring ore to maintain the stability of time rifts in 6 racial locations, it became possible to obtain anachronisms that will allow you to assemble the Armor of Eternity.

You will meet with the heroes of the past of each race and take part in historical battles to obtain items for creating the Runes of Conjugation and the Echo of the Past, which contains the Armor of Eternity.

In the lands of people, you will meet the young wizard Kazian and help him repel the attack of Beleth's squad near the Obelisk of Victory.

In the lands of the elves, Irene Voice of the Moon awaits you with a request to protect Rainbow Lake from the demons of the dark elves.

Near the School of Dark Magic in the territory of the dark elves you will find the young tetrarch Mitrael, who will ask you to cleanse the school from the rampant demons of Desparion.

In the lands of the orcs, in the new location Raiders' Crossroads, the legendary warrior Kiruna awaits you, who needs help with Beleth's strike force.

The eastern mines of the dwarves have been attacked by an army of orcs and the king of the dwarves, Ehret, asks for support in the battle against them.

On the Isle of Souls, Rodenpicula will tell you about the invasion of the Einhasad angel army into the Nornil Dungeon and ask you to fight one of her daughters, Carly.

The main protagonist is Garrison Captain Lorion.

  • image.jpeg Lorion: The garrison captain who learned of the upcoming invasion and gives us quest items is located in the city of Aden to the right of the entrance to the Temple. He kindly shares with us the upcoming invasion plans, tells us about the necessary aspects of the quest and the Eternity armor.

    Resources are mined in locations using the weapon_sickle_i00.pngHarvest Scythe tool given to us. Locations are divided by races and armor parts, received in the future. Each location has its own Master, who gives us a task to kill a certain number of monsters and collect resources, we will need them in the future, to subsequently increase the level of trust of Tobald:

    After completing Tobald's first task, he will ask you to bring him runes, which he will exchange for recipes for creating new resources. Each location has its own unique rune and, accordingly, the ability to create unique resources^

      In order to open the new functionality of Tobald (increase the level of trust) you need to bring all 6 unique runes, after that you will have access to:
      • Craft all 6 types of resources;
      • Armor improvement.
         
  • By creating new resources at Tobald, you can exchange them for poe_echo_human_h_i00.pngEcho of the Past at Masters with different parts and types of armor sets. Please note that the chance to get a whole armor set is about 70%, but do not be upset, in the remaining 30% of cases you will receive equally important resources needed to improve and upgrade the armor. aden_rune_high_i03.pngPrimordial Stone, for example, will be of high value in the future, because without this item it is impossible to increase the level of armor.
  • Locations :
    • The monsters in the locations are quite strong, so it is best to visit them with geared characters in small or full groups. Also, each location has unique bosses.
  • Bosses :
    • Relatively weak bosses that will be easy prey for a full group, or will surely fall to a group with a live support and several damage dealers;
    • Possess a unique reward required to create the Rune - poe_enchanter_grimoire_i00.pngEnchanter's Grimoire ;
    • Respawn 2-3 times a day;
    • The respawn location is random, the boss can be summoned at any point in the location;
    • Has a unique mechanics of the main reward, the boss drops 2 items needed to create the rune. One of them is distributed according to the standard mechanics of the drop from the RB, the priority for raising the reward is given to the group that has dealt the maximum damage. The second item is given randomly to one living farm participant (only alive!!!).
